Note 1: Even if the Target Man checkbox is ticked I do not use a player anymore as a Target Man and it seems to work just as good. Make sure that you have at least 3 in your squad and rotate until you find one with a good avg rating (7+) after a few matches. Note 0: It's essential to find a good AML, left footed if possible. The tactic is a 4-1-1-2-2 at core with the MC pushing to AM while using a defensive mentality and counter attack. So far the only issue with it is the fact that you actually get a bunch of yellow cards in most of the matches (altought you'd still manage to win the match 10 vs 11 in case someone gets a red card). After years of trying to find or craft a tactic for FM 2005 that competes with the Diablo tactic for the CM 03/04 I was able to get pretty close to a great all around tactic that lets you score from actions, corners and also to properly defend.
